Worlds Best Liqueur Design at the World Drink Awards

WHITE HERON BRANDS

The craft liqueur company that the BBCs Dragons wanted to get their teeth into (but didn’t) came to Craig Mackinlay of Breeze Creative for a complete make-over for their brand. Totally inspired by the enthusiasm of the Dragons, White Heron’s Founder, Jo Hilditch, realised there was scope to really move her British Cassis brand out into the wider marketplace particularly in the on trade and off trade premium sectors.

Based in Herefordshire, Jo’s family has been farming the land for 140 years and their blackcurrants are also used by Ribena. In the few short months since Mackinlay redesigned British Cassis, sales have increased by over 300%, once again proving that if you have a really great product and make sure it’s packaging design is given the care and attention to detail that you have put into your product, the world is your oyster!

The impact that Breeze Creative has had on our rebrand has been immeasurable.
At British Cassis we were floundering in trying to create a new identity/brand which represented quality, heritage, provenance and the Britishness of our product.
Craig managed to do all of the above and more, designing a bottle and brand credentials that we now use across our range. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking for an intelligent and listening approach to a brief but bringing great flair and individuality to a product that was struggling to find its identity in a crowded drinks market. With the new design sales are easy, people hardly want to try the product, they just want to buy the bottle!
